Sojourn Community Church is all about Jesus Christ. We exist for the purpose
of bringing glory to God by living Gospel-centered lives, obeying the Word of God and proclaiming the Good News of salvation through faith in Jesus.
Here's what to expect:
A Warm Greeting...It's our desire to welcome you to our church! You'll meet great people with friendly faces who are all committed to doing church right and honoring the Lord.
Great Potluck...Be sure to bring an appetite for potluck after service. You, your friends and family are ALL welcome! We have some great folks in Sojourn who really know how to cook!
Expository Preaching ...We are uncompromisingly committed to preaching and
teaching the Bible verse by verse as the inspired Word of God.
Sunday Mornings
Sunday Mornings, 11am to 12 noonish...Service begins upstairs at 11am. We start with a time of singing (15 mins) followed by a sermon (40 mins) and then we celebrate the Lords Supper (5 mins).
Nursery Ministry (Sundays only)...Nursery is available on our 1st floor for children walking until age 3. Children are assigned a number and parents are given a ticket with their child's number on it. If your child needs your attention during service, the number will appear on a display in our chapel so that you may attend to their need. All volunteers are church members and have passed background checks.
KIDS Church (Sundays only)...Bible teaching is provided for children ages 3 to 12
during Sunday morning church service. We use the Generations of Grace curriculum. All volunteers are church members and have passed background checks.
Wednesday Evenings
Wednesdays Evenings from 7 to 8 pm...Service begins at 7pm. Our pastor preaches a sermon (30 minutes) followed by a time of Q&A. Childcare is provided on our 1st floor.
Childcare (Wednesdays)...Children ages 3 to 10 stay downstairs on our 1st floor and watch a kid-safe movie . All volunteers are church members and have passed background checks.
Other Events
GALS CONNECT...Women meet once a month for accountability & prayer. See bulletin for details.
MEN'S DISCIPLESHIP GROUP...Men meet once a month at a church membe r's home to study and discuss JI Packer's book Concise Theology. See bulletin for details.
Biblical Counseling...We're committed to Biblical Counseling (nouthetic) where Scripture alone has singular and final authority. Counseling is available following Sunday services or by appointment. Email info@sojourn.cc for more info.
